Finally, we managed to meet face to face within the whole project consortium. Between 7th and 10th of November, all we all gathered in the headquarters of Centrum Badań Kosmicznych PAN in Warsaw (Poland).
On the first day, we focused on progress review; Work Package, after Work Package and the Key Performance Indicators.
On the second day, we participated in the Info Day 1. CREAF, CERTH and CNR performed the three training, related to three research topics:
- influence of climate drivers on vegetation
- inundation mapping
- wild fires modelling.
In the afternoon, scientists from CREAF and CBK PAN participated in the mentoring meetings.
Wednesday, was the day of Info Day 2, General Assembly and the continuation of the mentoring meetings.
Topics presented during the Info Day 2 included:
- The Group of Earth Observations (GEO) and its European component (EuroGEO)
- EU Startup Acceleration Programs
- EU Horizon Europa calls.
Mentoring meetings were performed by joined groups of scientists from CERTH and CBK PAN.
On Thursday, we continued the mentoring meetings between CNR, CERTH and CBK PAN and participated in lecture given by prof. Antonello Provenzale (CNR) about Soil – Vegetation – Atmosphere models.
