Between 26th September and 8th October dr Edyta Woźniak and dr Sebastian Aleksandrowicz visited department of CNR in Bari (previously, they visited the headquarters of CNR in Pisa, Italy). The visit was dedicated to two mentoring plan topics: “Soil Organic Carbon modelling” and “Empirical, data-driven climate impact models for wildfires”. The researchers got familiar with models and software used at CNR for carbon modelling. They also dedicated their time to process satellite-based data that will be used for modelling of wildfires with the cooperation of CNR scientists.
