{"id":1715,"date":"2023-08-22T15:08:14","date_gmt":"2023-08-22T13:08:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eotist.cbk.waw.pl\/?p=1715"},"modified":"2023-08-25T14:39:35","modified_gmt":"2023-08-25T12:39:35","slug":"1715","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eotist.cbk.waw.pl\/?p=1715","title":{"rendered":"The third visit of researchers from CBK PAN in CNR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In August, dr Edyta Wo\u017aniak and Micha\u0142 Krupi\u0144ski spent two weeks with the scientists from Institute of Geosciences and Earth Resources (IGG) of National Research Council of Italy (CNR) in Italy. They have participated in various field campaign, learning and gaining practical experience in the practical aspects of CO2 emissions measurements in mountain ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to hospitability of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.igg.cnr.it\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.igg.cnr.it\/en\/\">CNR <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pngp.it\/en\">Grand Paradiso National Park<\/a>, both scientists from Poland could gain the knowledge about environmental aspects of nature preservation and monitoring. The issues covered during the secondment included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>alien invasive species monitoring using remote sensing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CO2 fluxes measurements in various types of Alpine pastures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On the map, you can see which sites (located in 5 different valleys) have been visited during the secondment in 2023:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image href=\"https:\/\/www.pngp.it\/en\">Gran Paradiso National Park<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parcomarguareis.it\">Natural Park of
